Sherrelle Evans-Jones | Chief Financial Officer

Sherrelle Evans-Jones joined the Dallas Police & Fire Pension System as the Chief Financial Officer in August 2026. In this role, she oversees all aspects of the organization’s accounting, including monthly reporting, treasury management, and the annual audit.

Sherrelle brings more than 25 years of experience across public accounting, not-for-profit, and governmental finance. Prior to joining the Pension System, she served as Finance Director for the City of Farmers Branch and the Town of Little Elm, as well as Chief Financial Officer for the Denton County Transportation Authority. Her extensive background in public accounting includes her service with Ernst & Young, LLP, where she was an Audit Senior Manager.

Sherrelle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Texas.
