The Dallas Police and Fire Pension System believes in our responsibility to our members, their families, and future Police officers and Firefighters. One of the ways that we can care for our Members is to do whatever we can to protect our environment.
We want to do things that will positively affect our surroundings. Some of the ways we do this is through recycling office wastepaper, aluminum cans, and plastic. We use paper that meets the standards of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, and our Trustees have researched and invested in environmentally conscious investments.
Our headquarters was refurbished using Green Building Standards, giving us a building which operates in such a way that it is more energy efficient and has less of an impact on the environment.
