2013 Open Enrollment for City of Dallas Retiree Insurance

Important Announcement:
Open Enrollment for 2013 starts Monday, October 1, and ends Friday, November 2. To prepare for the benefits enrollment period, the City of Dallas has launched a new website to make the process easier. The new City of Dallas Benefits Website provides important details concerning your retiree benefits and the Open Enrollment process. This interactive, online portal offers instant access to resources and tools such as the 2013 Retiree Benefits and Enrollment Guide, which will help retirees understand plan features and determine which plans offer them the best value.

The annual open enrollment period for health insurance will begin Monday, October 1, and end Friday, November 2.

The enrollment process will be passive; therefore, if you are satisfied with your current benefits plan, you do not have to participate.

Upcoming Open Enrollment Informational Meetings for Retirees include the following:

• Tuesday, September 25, 10 a.m. to noon at Bachman Therapeutic Recreation Center
  
• Tuesday, October 2, 2 to 4 p.m. at Dallas City Hall, L1FN Auditorium
  
• Tuesday, October 9, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Dallas City Hall, L1FN Auditorium
